Uralmashplant JSC and its subsidiary "Uralmashplant– Mining equipment" LLC offer handling and homogenizing equipment. Effect of using the complex:

  • increase of output and durability of blast furnaces, sinter machines, boiler units;
  • reduce (up to 20%) of coke consumption in blast furnaces and sinter plants;
  • increase of sinter strength and degree of iron reduction in sinter;
  • ability to use poor and low-grade coals together with rich ones, as well as to make coal mixtures with pre-set properties;
  • reduce of specific energy consumption of working process and total specific metal consumption (up to 2-3 times) of equipment comparing to cyclic equipment;

Boring-and-Milling Ripper

Designed to restore granulated condition of frozen or caked bulk materials when they are unloaded from railway cars by means of step drilling. The ripper ensures the safety of the rolling stock. It reduces the total car unloading time, energy consumption for heating cars, as well as loads on the car dumper and crushing and milling machine.

Car Pushers

Car pushers are designed to move (push) loaded open cars into a car dumper and to push empty cars from the dumper after they are unloaded; or to move (push) empty cars / hopper cars to loading units and then remove the cars from the loading area after loading in bulk material storages.

Crushing and Milling Machine

Designed for crushing large pieces or blocks of frozen material on the grates of receiving bins of wagon dumper. Blocks (pieces) are milled by rotating cutters teeth.

ORMETO-YUMZ manufactures various types of crushing and milling machines: conventional machines of DFM-3A type; DFMC-2 type machines with a chain drive; reverse machines, DFMR-2 type machines crushing material in forward and reverse motion. The latter ones are used in conjunction work with a side wagon dumper. Crushing and milling machines crushing capacity is from 2.5 to 6 m, the size of blocks is up to 1200 mm.

Retractable belt conveyors

Designed for transporting bulk and lump materials (coal, iron ore concentrates, lump iron ore, limestone, slurries, etc.) with a maximum piece size of up to 400 mm only in the horizontal direction. They are used for loading or balancing materials in bins and storages.

Conveyors are divided into: rolling ones that are unloaded when the conveyor is stationary and are moved to another place as a bin or a storage are filled; and shuttle conveyors that unload material when the conveyor is moving in a reciprocating manner.

Stacker/Reclaimer

Designed for laying bulk materials in a stack of trapezoidal (triangular) cross-section and their reclaiming in conditions of an outdoors (indoors) storage. Material is supplied to and from the storage in different transfer points. “Uralmash-Mining equipment” offers two models of this type of machine: rotary one (UZR) and rotary reverse ones (UZR-R).
